Care Guide

Crystal Care Guide

Crystal is defined by its clarity, brilliance, and relationship with light. With proper care, your YIORA pieces can retain their beauty for years to come.

The following recommendations are designed to help you care for your crystal glassware and decorative objects.

CLEANING YOUR CRYSTAL

For most crystal pieces, we recommend gentle hand washing.

Use lukewarm water with a small amount of mild detergent and clean the surface using a soft sponge or cloth.

Avoid abrasive brushes, scouring pads, or harsh cleaning products, as they may scratch or damage polished surfaces.

After washing, rinse thoroughly with clean water.

DRYING & POLISHING

Use a soft, lint-free cloth to gently dry your crystal.

Avoid allowing water droplets to remain on the surface for long periods, as mineral deposits may leave visible water marks.

For decorative pieces, a clean microfiber cloth can be used to gently remove fingerprints and dust.

When polishing stemmed or delicate pieces, avoid applying excessive pressure.

DISHWASHER USE

Unless a product page specifically states that an item is dishwasher safe, we recommend hand washing YIORA crystal products.

High temperatures, strong detergents, and contact with other objects inside a dishwasher may affect the finish or cause damage to delicate crystal surfaces.

AVOID SUDDEN TEMPERATURE CHANGES

Crystal can be sensitive to rapid changes in temperature.

Avoid pouring extremely hot liquids into a cold crystal vessel or exposing a heated piece directly to cold water.

Sudden temperature changes may place stress on the material.

Always allow the crystal to adjust gradually to temperature changes.

HANDLING

Crystal objects can be heavier than they appear.

Always hold larger pieces securely and avoid lifting delicate items by narrow stems, decorative elements, or other fragile sections.

When moving crystal objects, hold them from their strongest structural point whenever possible.

STORAGE

Store crystal pieces separately whenever possible to prevent surfaces and edges from rubbing against one another.

For drinking glasses, avoid stacking unless the product is specifically designed to be stacked.

Place heavier crystal objects on stable, level surfaces away from edges.

CANDLE HOLDERS

Never leave a burning candle unattended.

Keep candles away from children, pets, curtains, paper, and other flammable materials.

Allow the candle holder to cool completely before touching, cleaning, or moving it.

Do not expose crystal candle holders to sudden temperature changes.

CRYSTAL VASES

Change vase water regularly and avoid allowing mineral deposits to build up inside the vessel.

For narrow areas, use a soft cleaning tool rather than hard or abrasive objects.

After use, rinse thoroughly and allow the vase to dry completely before storage.

A NOTE ON CRYSTAL

Light, reflections, surrounding colors, and viewing angles can change the appearance of crystal throughout the day.

This interaction with light is part of what gives each piece its distinctive presence.

Handle with care. Enjoy for years.
